Stronger Together Forums (April 2024 - April 2025)

Thanks to funding from Disrupt Foundation we ran a series of creative forums to engage policy makers, decision makers and key stakeholders to look at the issues affecting us migrant women and migrant communities in general from different perspectives/angles and to find together possible solutions and ways to collaborate.
As a result of these forums we have built a strong relationship with the council and continue to work together to improve temporary accommodation for migrants in Greenwich.
Understanding Policy Making (April - June 2024)

This project built on the work of Stronger Together and Creating Ground’s previous history projects, The Colours of Greenwich and Untold Stories, as well as our work with Citizens UK, to recognise our Leaders as policy makers who are part of an historic movement to campaign for migrant and human rights.
With Lydia Powell and Dr Anna Maguire from University College London, we learnt about what policy is. We shared issues important to migrants’ lives such as health, housing, education and more, to reflect on the history of migrants’ rights campaigns.
